Plants form a shrubby mound of woolly silver-grey leaves, bearing spikes of butter-yellow flowers arranged in tiers or layers. Woody and evergreen in Zones 8 to 9. Plants require excellent drainage, particularly in areas with hot muggy summers or wet winters. Plants may be pruned back hard in early spring when needed. Nice for cutting.
