LANDSCAPE VALUES: Walking Iris bears pure white, orchid-like, fragrant flowers with chocolate-brown centers and blue and white curled petals. The succession of flowers, that last only a day, that are produced from the same flower spike begin mid-spring and lasts until fall. Once the blossom has faded, the strap like foliage bends to the ground with the weight of the flower, and a new plant takes root, hence the name, Walking Iris!
