LANDSCAPE VALUE: Tiger lilies are very tall growing perennials that bloom mid to late summer with spotted flowers and recurved petals. Red Tiger Lily is a stunner and pollinator magnet with deep scarlet red petals sprinkled with dark blackish purple spots and 4-6 flowers per stem. For best results, plant them about 2-3 times the bulbs height deep. For example, a 2-inch bulb should be planted 4-5 inches deep. Be sure to plant them in well-draining soil, provide fertilizer when planting and right after they bloom. The flowers are excellent for cutting. They look great in mass plantings or as a specimen.
