SOIL: Dry, well drained LANDSCAPE VALUES: Crown of Thorns is a smallish thorny succulent tropical species from Madagascar that has long been grown as a houseplant or ornamental in warm climates. This variety thrives on minimal care, making it an excellent choice for both indoor and outdoor settings. Its drought tolerant nature means it can stand periods of neglect, yet it rewards you with nearly continuous flowering. The vibrant green leaves and the very colorful bracts (flowers) make this a must have addition to your collection. If growing outdoors, be sure to bring it in at 35 degrees or below.
