LANDSCAPE VALUES: Yarrow is among the best perennials for planting in hot, dry and sunny locations. Plants form low mounds of fragrant ferny foliage, with clusters of pale lavender flowers appearing on upright stems April through early summer. It may take a break or go dormant in the hottest summer months and then return in cooler weather. Be sure to give it excellent drainage. Cut back faded flower heads to promote continued blooming. Perfect for cutting, fresh or dried.
