Philippine Violet is a wonderful fall blooming plant sporting deep green foliage and vibrant purple flowers from September to December. Easy to grow, these plants seem most comfortable when provided afternoon shade and moderate moisture. Sought after for its late season’s flowers, Philippine Violet combines well in landscape plantings when paired with plants like Variegated Shell Ginger, Farfugium with its yellow fall flowers, Butterfly Weed , Japanese maple trees, and the bright golden-yellow flowers of Senna ‘Golden Wonder'. A great addition to a fall garden to view and attract pollinators.
