This cultivar is slightly more compact and lacks the spines of other varieties. Dangling chains of orange-yellow fruits follow the flowers. Mature plants develop an almost weeping habit. Plant as a specimen or espalier. It is root hardy if it dies back after a freeze.
Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.
