When most of us hear the word "boxwood" we think about a neat, rounded shrub or clipped formal box hedges, right? But that all changed for us when we were at a nursery convention and laid eyes on 'Unraveled', a unique Boxwood that has an intriguing arching form with weeping branches. Naturally growing in an arching mound with the branches will cascade beautifully over a wall or down an embankment. When trained to grow more upright it has an even more dramatic weeping habit perfect for accentuating an entryway or in a pot. Exceptionally cold hardy to -20F, the shiny dark green foliage remains year-round with little to no bronzing. Definitely a conversation piece in the garden!
