LANDSCAPE VALUES:
The Ming Fern is a, elegant, upright, shrubby perennial popular for its feathery, pom-pom-like clusters of needle-like green foliage. Often used in bonsai, as a potted houseplant, or in tropical landscapes, it thrives in partial shade and moderate moisture. Not a True Fern: Despite its name, this plant is in the Asparagaceae family (related to asparagus vegetables) and is native to South Africa.
