Description
PERENNIAL
ZONE: 7- 9
LIGHT: Sun
HEIGHT: 10 - 12 in.
SPREAD: 10 – 12 in.
SOIL: Well drained
VALUE:
The ‘Ellagance’ Series of Lavender is compact and flowers the first year. This selection produces grey-green leaves with spikes of deep violet-blue flowers. Prune lightly in early spring, no harder than 4 inches. Lavender MUST have good drainage in order to avoid root rot problems. Consider growing in a raised bed or rock garden. The fragrant flowers and foliage make it a favourite for herb gardens and in the perennial border.
Used for perfumes and potpourri
