Lush sub-tropical rambling vine with clusters of very showy red flowers with purple bracts. This is one of the few vines that blooms well in the shade. In mild winters, this vine is likely to bloom all winter. In harsh winters, it will regrow from the roots in spring. Performs best in a free draining soil rich in organic matter where it receives morning sun and afternoon shade.
